Warranty Terms and Conditions
Thank you for making a purchase at the Computer Clearance Centre. We appreciate your business.
Please keep your invoice in a safe place as you will need it to make a warranty claim.
Length of Coverage
Unless otherwise specifically stated on the invoice the warranty period is for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss of damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits under our warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies provided by Australian Law.
What the warranty covers
This warranty is for hardware issues only. If the covered item has a hardware issue inside the warranty period Computer Clearance Centre will fix the issue without charge. If we are unable to fix the problem we will replace the item with another item of the same type. If we are unable to replace the item we may offer a free upgrade or refund you the full value of your purchase.
What the warranty does not cover
Software – Any software issues including but not limited to viruses, program installations, data loss and any compatibility issues are not covered.
Battery – As batteries are consumable items with limited life spans they are sold as is and are not covered by the warranty.
Changed Your Mind – You are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind or find the product for sale cheaper elsewhere.
Damaged the item - You will not be covered by warranty if the item has been damaged or mistreated in any way. This includes but is not limited to, being dropped, stood on, or damaged from liquid being spilled on the item.
We will be able to help you with many minor issues over the phone or via email so please ring or email as a first step. If we are unable to help you via phone or email, the item will need to be returned to the Computer Clearance Centre store at the address listed below. Whenever possible we will fix the item in store while you wait. If we are unable to fix the problem quickly, the item may need to be booked in for repairs. We will complete the required repairs as soon as possible, usually within 3 days. If we are unable to fix the problem we will replace the item with another item of the same type. If we are unable to replace the item we many offer a free upgrade or refund you the full value of your purchase.
